Who we are
Oakhill Church is a church family passionate about Jesus, grounded in God’s Word, and committed to building healthy, life-giving community. What started in 1996 as a small church plant gathering in a home in Durbanville has grown into a vibrant spiritual family where people from all walks of life can belong, grow, and encounter
God. Through every season, God has remained faithful — building His church, changing lives, and continually leading us forward.
In 2026, Pastor Grant Gerber stepped into the role of Lead Elder. Having been part of Oakhill since the early days and serving in many different areas of church life over the years, Grant carries a deep love for the church, for people, and for building strong biblical foundations for the future.
As we look ahead, our heart remains simple: to build His family, advance His Kingdom, and create spaces where people can encounter God, grow in purpose, and do life together. We believe the best is still ahead, and there’s a place for you here.
